We got set the project 'Painting with Light' a couple of weeks ago where we had to produce an advertisement for a product or brand campaign that used painting with light as an alternative technique. We could choose what we wanted to produce an advertisement for.
My idea switched from cutlery to soup, what a jump eh?
For my cutlery idea I attempted to draw a fish to represent a meal rather than just putting a glow here and there, when I practised doing this it didn't work, shown in the image below.
So we can see the practice shoot didn't work, so I decided to change it to something simpler by having a bowl instead and including steam and waving a torch around in the background to create a lovely effect by using coloured tissue paper and a pink carrier bag. After some feedback about the image I was told that it looked as if it was an advertisement for soup and there were a few thing still wrong with the image.
